  OPERATING COMMANDS

  COMPILER

  The compiler SSL can be run from the command line, it will prompt for a prog name:

  SSL

  or with a prog name:

  SSL prog1.ssl (.ssl is optional)

  SSL >prog2 will read text, one line at a time, and make and compile prog2

  Once the suffix .ssl is associated with SSL.exe, a prog can be compiled with a mouse click.

  A successful compile will generate two files:

  prog1.listing

  prog1.ssx

  RUNTIME

  The emulator SSX.exe can be run from the command line:

  SSX or SSX prog1

  Once the suffix .ssx is associated with SSX.exe, a prog can be run with a mouse click.

  A prog can be run from SSX with the command: R prog1

  A prog can be compiled from SSX with the command:

  C prog1 or

  compiled and run (if successful) with the command:

  CR prog1
